Bay Boat Birding Tour "B" - Tuesday, February 4th

This time of year, bird species diversity doubles along the shores of the lower Laguna Madre as migratory northern birds spend the winter alongside our resident species, making for some fantastic birding! Enjoy a laid-back tour with our naturalist volunteers on a comfortable on a comfortable shallow-water boat as you explore the bay and parts of the Brownsville ship channel. This is one of the best ways to see a great number of coastal wading birds, terns, pelicans, gulls, shorebirds, birds of prey as well as a chance to see other marine wildlife such as Bottlenose Dolphin and Green Sea Turtles! The small participant number (6) ensures that you will enjoy a more intimate time with nature.

Loaned binoculars will be available for participants.

In case of bad weather this trip will be postponed for, 8am to 9:30am, Thursday Feb 6th. 

This trip goes out from Port Isabel. Meet at the Southpoint Marina.
