Wetlands & Wine Evening Tour - Tuesday, Feb 4th

Where’s there’s water there is life and where there is wine life is good!

Join us on a leisurely evening tour of saltwater and freshwater wetland hotspots of the Laguna Madre area in search of wildlife!

Wetlands are abounding with wintering waterfowl and shorebirds this time of year! We’ll be visiting saltwater shorelines, mudflats, and freshwater resacas, both public and private as we make our way to our destination for the evening, Bonita Flats Farm and Vineyard in Los Fresnos. There we will relax and enjoy samples of three different wine varieties (included in tour fee).

The mix of wetlands environments that we will be visiting will be conducive to seeing a great diversity of wildlife and the delicious wine will bring a perfect and pleasant end to our evening adventure in the Laguna Madre area!

Tour will go out rain or shine, in the event of extremely bad weather the tour will be rescheduled for Monday, Feb 11th

Binoculars will be available to borrow during this tour. 

Tour leaves from and returns to the South Padre Island Birding & Nature Center. 

Cancellations must be made 4 days in advance for a 50% refund
