A heartfelt thank you to the Rio Grande Valley Quilt Guild for their generous donation!
This beautiful handmade Queen Size quilt, valued at $1,000, is being raffled to raise funds for our Center. As always, your participation helps support educational, conservations, and habitat programs at the South Padre Island Birding, Nature Center & Alligator Sanctuary.

Every Wednesday in October, you will be able to enjoy the gorgeous weather and the stunning birds that visit our center! Food (provided by Peggy's Cakes and More) and drinks will be available for purchase to enjoy on our back patio while you watch a picturesque fall sunset over South Padre Island.

Fall is a stunning season on South Padre Island. The weather is pleasant, and the gardens are adorned with blooming nectar plants, following the seasonal rains of September. This perfectly coincides with the arrival of migrating birds and Monarch butterflies en route to their wintering sites.

Hallowings 2024
Celebrate Monarch Migration season with us!
This year's Hallowings will take place on the last Sunday of October! Enjoy free admission for a day and gain access to a variety of fun activities including a native plant sale, live music, local vendors, face painting, sandcastle lessons, butterfly garden tours, costume contests, and more!
