WWE is celebrating this special nature through the lenses of the people that enjoy it so much via a friendly nature photo contest!

Funds raised will support habitat projects and education initiatives at the
SPI Birding Nature Center & Alligator Sanctuary.

Categories: up to 3 photo submissions per category are allowed.

Only photos taken since January 1st 2024 are eligible for submission.

Submission Deadline - January 25th 2025.

Photos must be taken within area boundary which includes South Padre Island, the Laguna Atascosa NWR area, Boca Chica Beach, and areas and parks E. of FM1847 (Los Fresnos) and north of State Highway 4 and FM511. See map below for details.

Photo submission qualifications:

Photos must be 8x10 (or 2400x3000) at 300dpi to qualify with the exemption of photos entered from the children age group.

Awards:

Each photo form submitted will grant a free entry pass to WWE at the South Padre Island Birding Nature Center & Alligator Sanctuary on Saturday, February 8th where the awards ceremony will be held from 3-3:45pm. All photo submissions will be exhibited during WWE 2025 from Feb 6-8th! There will be 5 finalists and 3 prized winners per category.
